Mr. Clyde Plank, 79, of Cranston, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 in the Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Grayson.
He was born in Rowan County, Kentucky on March 5, 1932, the son of the late Jack Edward Plank and Maude Gulley Plank.
Mr. Plank was a farmer and of the Church of God faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Samuel Plank, Fred Plank and Ezra Plank and five sisters, Essie Mae Little, Lucy Whisman, Carrie Caudill, Thelma Jewell Little and Luevena Sue Plank.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy C. Plank and Clyde Plank, Jr., one sister, Norlene (J. R.) Esham of Morehead and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 24, 2011 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Brother Don Rivers and Brother Mitch Roe officiating.
Burial will follow in the Plank Family Cemetery.
Visitation is after 6:00 P.M. Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Mark Esham, Vincin Plank, Jackie Middleton, Jackie Caudill, Brian Caudill, Willis Taylor and Monty Stidam.
