Clifton Clark

Clifton Lee Clark, 63 of Clearfield, Kentucky passed away Monday, December 26, 2022, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead, Kentucky after a brief illness.

He was born January 12, 1959, in Montgomery County, Kentucky to the late Charles Ewing Clark and Christine McCarty Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Belinda Gose.

Lee as he was affectionately known by family and friends was a retired auto mechanic and of the Baptist faith. He was a collector and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his great nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed fishing and talking on his C. B. radio.

Survivors include his sister, Nancy Lewis and her companion Fred Jenkins of Clearfield. One niece, Kelly (Dewayne) McElhaney and a host of great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Wednesday.

Pall bearers will be Colby Gose, Cody Holbrook, Dewayne McElhaney, Jeffrey McElhaney, Clifton McCarty and Nathan Kirkwood. Honorary pall bearers will be Dewayne Davis, Candice McElhaney and Brooke McElhaney.
