Claude Waylan Lambert

August 17, 1941 — December 31, 2015

Claude Waylan Lambert, 74, of Mary Esther, Florida, passed at Grand Boulevard Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his family on December 31, 2015.

Claude is survived by his daughter, Katrina D. Lambert, granddaughter, Katelyn A. Lambert of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, mother, Beulah Maxine Lambert of Pulaski, Virginia, brother, Lewis Delane Lambert of Battle Creek, Michigan, sisters, Patricia Ann Smith of Pulaski, Virginia and Virginia Ruth Riedel of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and many loving nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Claude Lambert.

Claude was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to all.  Claude loved horses and worked as a trainer and owner for many years until he gave up the career he loved.  He then became involved in a family appliance business where he enjoyed working with his hands doing repairs and installations.  He enjoyed watching football and auto racing on the weekends.  Claude was always there to help friends with household projects or whatever else they needed him for.

His wishes were to be cremated and buried with the rest of his family in Morehead.

Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Jerome Frandle and Bill Denk officiating.
