Charles Glover

June 25, 1945 — December 21, 2015

Mr. Charles Floyd Glover, 70, of School House Branch, Morehead, passed away Monday, December 21, 2015 at his home.

He was born on June 25, 1945 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a son of the late Nathan Delbert and Latonia Crissie Hamm Glover.

Mr. Glover was retired from Sealmaster, having worked there for 25 years.

He was a member of the Church of God.

Charles enjoyed coon hunting, deer hunting, collecting knives, riding horses and farming.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel Robert Glover and two sisters, Josephine “Jody” Back and Janice Ruth Wagner.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Ellen Sparks Glover, whom he married on February 4, 1966, two sons, Brian Neil (Olivia) Glover and Charles Tony Glover all of Morehead, one daughter, Paula Glover (Andy) Lands of Hillsboro, three brothers, Ray (Stella) Glover of Olive Hill, Paul (Wilma) Glover and Garry (Janet) Glover all of Morehead, four sisters, Pearl Kilgore of Olive Hill, Dora (Keith) Dickerson of Mansfield, Ohio, Iva Clark of Morehead and Marilyn “Libby” (J. P.) Cooper of Olive Hill, four grandchildren, Nathan (Erin) Lands, Allie Lands, Madison Glover and Wyatt Glover and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Andy Lands and Brother Ray Glover officiating.

Burial will follow in the Masters Cemetery.

Visitation is after 5 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Glover, Nathan Lands, Levi Banks, Jason Stevens, Ronnie Thompson, Danny Ray Glover and Tim Glover.

Honorary pallbearer will be Paul Glover.
