Carolina Sue Craft Puckett

Carolina Sue Craft Puckett, 78, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was born on February 19, 1948 in Morehead, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Henry A. Craft and Norma Butler Curtis.

Sue was a retired phlebotomist for St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

She attended Lick Fork Pentecostal Church and she enjoyed quilting, coloring, traveling, singing and especially spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Rebecca Ann Plank Masters, granddaughter, Hannah Parish, grandsons, Jeffery Lee Plank and Cody Catching, infant twin grandchildren, two brothers, Henry Dale Craft and Arvis Curtis and one sister, Debbie Layne.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Puckett, Jr., one son, Addie Lee Plank, Jr. (Amanda) of Morehead, four daughters, Apryl Lynn Saunders (Donnie) of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, Samantha Oleatha Plank (Hollie) of Morehead, Patricia Sue Puckett of Clearfield, Kentucky and Mia Dawn Conway (Jason Parish) of Morehead, one brother, Avery T. Craft of Flemingsburg, five sisters, Pam Young, Lora Perkins, Bonnie Hamilton and Hattie Little all of Morehead and Zourdah Howard of Farmers, Kentucky, nineteen grandchildren, Hallie Plank, Channing Plank, Ethan Jordan, Gavin Crouch, Christian Plank, Heather Boggs, Mia Boggs, Mackenzie Boggs, Madison Bentley, Colton Parish, Salem Parish, Silas Parish, Riley Donathan, Roman Pugh, Ashley Dummitt, Nathan Richmond, Marcus Richmond, Michael Richmond and Lakeli Hurt, a host of great-grandchildren, her mother-in-law, Patty Glover of Morehead and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 12, 2026 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Johnathan Sargent, Brother Larry Hamm and Brother Raymond Steagall officiating.

Burial will follow in the Family Home Cemetery at 777 Big Perry Road, Morehead.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 6:00 P.M. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Samantha Plank, Lee Plank, Apryl Saunders, Trish Puckett, Mia Conway, Nathan Richmond and Josh Puckett.

Honorary pallbearers will be Avery Craft, Riley Donathan and Roman Pugh.
