Bonnie Thomas

Bonnie Lue Hunter Thomas, 65, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Wednesday evening, February 10, 2016 in the Ridgeway Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Owingsville.

She was born on December 24, 1950 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Willis Lee Hunter and Dorothy Opal Stephens Hunter.

Bonnie had been a medical secretary for several different hospitals and offices.

She was a member of the Owingsville Church of Christ and she was an artist, who enjoyed painting.  Bonnie also enjoyed doing all kinds of crafts and working in flowers.

Survivors include one son, Phillip Bruce Thomas of Morehead, one granddaughter, Danielle Marie Morales, two sisters, Carolyn Sue Hunter of Mt. Sterling and Marion Opal Hunter White of Winchester, her step-mother, Rickie Hunter of Clearfield, one step-sister, Tami Hart Sammons of Clearfield, niece, Lisa Haney, nephews, Barry Porter and Jeffery Davis, great-nieces and nephews, Meghann Edlund, Colton Haney and Riley Davis.

At her request, there will be no visitation or services.

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is caring for all arrangements.
