Bonnie Sexton

November 20, 1946 — December 8, 2011

Mrs. Bonnie Sue Harris Sexton, 65, of Ringos Mill Road, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center after an illness of several weeks.

She was born on November 20, 1946 in Fleming County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Ray and Betty Middleton Harris.

Mrs. Sexton was a housekeeper for the Days Inn for several years and also for Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home. She was a member of the Sharkey Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed working puzzles, cooking, gardening, fishing and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Evert Sexton, who passed away on April 21, 2006.

Survivors include one son, Rev. Harley E. Sexton, Jr. and his wife, Jill of Morehead, one daughter, Evelyn White and her husband, Roger of Hillsboro, three grandchildren, Jessica Amber Sexton Kiser and her husband, Matt, Elijah Andrew Sexton and his wife, Nikki and Elizabeth Ashley Sexton and one great-grandson, Abram Elijah Sexton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the Sharkey Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Kidd officiating.

Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Monday at the church.
