Bert Thomas Dixon, 78, of Baltimore, Maryland formerly of Morehead, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015.

He was born on August 5, 1937.

Bert grew up in Eastern Kentucky where he had a great life as a kid.  He met the love of his life, Phyllis, while attending college at Morehead State.  He loved playing sports and later coaching, eventually returning to his alma mater, Prestonsburg High School, creating a winning football team.  He joined the FBI as a Special Agent, relocating to Minnesota and later Perry Hall, Maryland in 1968.  After his retirement from the FBI, he taught at Mountain Christian School where he also started a vibrant sports program.  Recently he enjoyed ushering at the Aberdeen Iron Birds games.  He was a devoted member of the Baltimore First Church of God, teaching and working hard to maintain the property.  His passion was teaching, coaching and caring for children.  We celebrate him because of the many lives he touched with his kindness and caring way.  His memory will be cherished.
