Audrey Yvette Raney Donathan

Audrey Yvette Raney Donathan, 56 of Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026 at UK-St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead, Kentucky.

She was born on March 27, 1969 in Frenchburg, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Lowell Audrey Raney and Betty Lou Patrick Raney.

Audrey had worked in customer service in the hospitality industry and she attended the Grange City Christian Church.

She was very talented at crocheting and she also enjoyed playing computer games and cards, cooking, fishing, hunting and talking with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jason Nathaniel Donathan, one sister, Tracy Lynette Raney and one granddaughter, Danielle Yvette Donathan.

Survivors include her husband, John David Donathan, four sons, William Robert Donathan (Trish) of Clearfield, Logan Taylor Raney (Molly) of Winchester, Kentucky, John Luke Perry (Carley) of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona and David Lee Donathan (Jessica) of Morehead, two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Welhelm (William) of Lamoni, Iowa and Rita Mae Marie Schill (Sebastian) of San Antonio, Texas, two sisters, Hannah Hussein (Allie) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and Anita Clark (Marty) of Wellington, Kentucky, special uncle, Silas Bib Raney of Menifee County, Kentucky, sixteen grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, January 17, 2026 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Richard Engle officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ginter Cemetery in Menifee County.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 5:00 P.M. Friday.

Pallbearers will be Sebastian Schill, Jerry Muse, Justin Morgan, Mason Davis, Nathan Hunter and Timmy Wallace.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mason Little, John Hopkins and William Welhelm.
