Mrs. Anna Mae Pendland, 87, of Flemingsburg, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.
She was born on November 20, 1927 in Lewis County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Zolar Thurman and Tressie McCleese Hardy.
Mrs. Pendland was a homemaker and a member of the Bluebank Christian Church.
She enjoyed reading, watching U.K. basketball and visiting with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Eddie B. Long and Thurl E. Pendland, an infant daughter, Mary Ann Long, two brothers, William Hardy and infant, James Thomas Thurman and one sister, Jean Whisman.
Survivors include three sons, Timothy Long and his partner, Michael of Morehead, James Joe Long and his wife, Mary of North Vernon, Indiana and Larry Lee Long and his wife, Linda of Pleasureville, four sisters, Ruby McKee, Elsie King and Beatrice Vice all of Flemingsburg and Dorothy Caudill of Morehead, twelve grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 29, 2015 in the chapel of the Lane-Stucky-Gray Funeral Home with Rev. Cleve King officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hogge Cemetery at Cranston.
Visitation is from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
