Pauline Black Jones, 81 of Clearfield passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 at her residence.
She was born July 10, 1937 in Morgan County, Kentucky to the late Lemuel and Bessie Kidd Black.
Besides her parents she was preceded death by her husband Linden Jones who passed away July 29, 2016 and one son in law Thomas Wagoner who passed away October 30, 1987.
Pauline attended the East End Church of God and enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include one son Buck Jones and his wife Frances of Morehead, three daughters Dianna Pennington and husband Jack of Morehead, Brenda Kay Purnell and husband Ronnie of Olive Hill and Loretta May Wagoner and husband Theodore of Olive Hill, three brothers Ivis Black, Lemuel Black, Jr. and Wayne Black all of Morehead, Kentucky and, one sister Leona Jones of Morehead, Kentucky. Grandchildren include Gary Bowman, Randy Bowman both of Clearfield, Dewayne Jones of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Brandon Jones, Jamie Pennington, Kristal Carey all of Morehead, Ryan Wagoner, Paige Wagoner, Faron Wagoner all of Olive Hill, Kentucky, eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Herbert D. Lewis officiating.
Burial will follow in the McClain-Arnold Cemetery in Morehead.
Visitation for Pauline Black Jones is at 5 P.M. on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Jones, Dewayne Jones, Tanner Bowman, Gary Bowman, Randy Bowman, Timmy Black and Tony Jones.
