Mrs. Loreda Caudill Thomas, 76, of Elliottville, passed away Thursday evening in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Rowan County, Kentucky on September 17, 1942 to the late Allie and Stella Stamper Caudill.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband the late Rev. Venis ("Woody") Thomas, three brothers, Elwood Jr. Caudill, Edward Eugene Caudill and Delmar Ray Caudill. Also, a grandson Bentley Thomas.
Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Soldier Church of God and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Jackie Thomas, Michael Thomas and Tammy Thomas White all of Elliottville. One sister, Lorene Lykins and her husband David of Rush, Kentucky. Two grandchildren Brad Thomas and his wife Destiny and Zackary White. Two great-grandchildren, Kashton Thomas and Kyson Thomas. Also, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Elijah Wagoner, Rev. Justin Wagoner and Rev. Johnny Moore officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ditney Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is after 5:00 P.M. Sunday and anytime on Monday.
Pall bearers will be Brad Thomas, Zackary White, Darrell Lykins, Denver Lykins, Doug Caudill, Steve Caudill, Mike Fannin, Jesse Jenkins and Allen Farrell.
