Donald "Buck" Greenhill, Jr.

Mr. Donald Ira (“Buck”) Greenhill, Jr., 66, of Maxey Flat Road, Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

He was born on May 15, 1951 in Ashland, Kentucky, a son of the late Donald Ira Greenhill and Betty Rose Greenhill.

Mr. Greenhill was retired from Morehead Housing Authority where he was the resident coordinator for many years.

He was a member of the Morehead Free Will Baptist Church and a graduate of Morehead State University.

Buck was a member of the Morehead Masonic Lodge No. 654, El Hasa Shrine Temple, Kentucky Long Rifles and the Shriner’s Hillbilly Clan 1 – Outhouse 5.  He had coached little league baseball and he enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Young Greenhill, three sons, Donald Ira (“Tripp”) Greenhill III and his wife, Brianna, J. Tyler Greenhill and his wife, Andrea and Seth Thomas Greenhill and his wife, Brittany all of Morehead, one daughter, Amilyn Greenhill Bailey and her husband, Sean of Louisville, his step-mother, Barbara Jones Greenhill of Morehead, five grandchildren, Justin Harley Delph, Jackson Tyler Greenhill, Addisyn Nicole Bailey, Donald Bran Greenhill IV and Liam Thomas Greenhill and two aunts, Judy Greenhill Roark and Linda Rose Browning both of Olive Hill.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 18, 2017 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Jeff Fannin officiating.

Burial will follow in the Brown Cemetery.

Visitation is after 5 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.

Masonic services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Saturday by the Morehead Masonic Lodge No. 654.

Pallbearers will be Sean Bailey, Nick Rogers, Randy Suttles, Lou Combess, Charles “Buggy” Jordan and Richard Tackett.
