Ada Purnell

Ada Fultz Purnell, 82, of Elliottville, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

She was born on September 18, 1936 in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Milzie and Geneva Fultz.

Mrs. Purnell was a homemaker and a member of the Dry Creek Church of God.

She enjoyed flowers, riding four wheelers, singing and cooking and she was an Elvis fan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Lee Purnell, who passed away on April 8, 2004.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Dale Purnell and Terry Lee Purnell both of Morehead, special nephew, Curt Purnell of Ewing, her best friend, Debbie Hawkins of Morehead and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services were private.

Burial was in the Ditney Ridge Cemetery.

There was no visitation.

The Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead cared for all arrangements.
