Ivan Jennings

Mr. Ivan Edward Jennings, 75 of Morehead passed away Sunday morning, February 14, 2016 at his home after a brief illness.
He was born in Rowan County, Kentucky on November 30, 1940 to the late Dorsie and Leona Riddle Jennings.
Mr. Jennings was a retired truckdriver having owned and operated his own trucks. He also was a heavy equipment operator for Local 181.
He was a private pilot and enjoyed flying, working with his heavy equipment and helping his friends.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Patricia Moore Jennings, one daughter, Melinda Jennings of Morehead, one brother, Herman Jennings of Morehead, two sisters, Edna (Claude) Lykins of Olympia and Dena Hurst of Morehead. One nephew, Jeff Lykins and three nieces, Dedra Buckner, Loretta Barker and Carrie Hurst. Also, many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services and burial will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Scaggs-Harr Cemetery on Oak Grove Road.
There is no visitation.
Pall Bearers will be Jeffrey Lykins, Clarence Jennings, Larry Moore, Justin Barker, Scott Moore and Jamie Thompson.
